Michael Burke is the Principal Advisor of Steady State Advisors, where he helps organizations drive strategic growth, commercial innovation, procurement excellence, and operational performance.
With more than two decades of leadership experience across Walmart, CVS Health, and Walgreens, Michael has led multi-billion-dollar businesses, overseen more than $50 billion in annual pharmaceutical purchasing, negotiated complex enterprise agreements, and developed strategies that deliver measurable financial and operational results.
A Doctor of Pharmacy and MBA, Michael combines deep industry expertise, analytical rigor, and practical execution to help leaders navigate complexity, unlock value, and build sustainable competitive advantage. His leadership and innovation have been recognized with honors including Walmart’s Sam M. Walton Entrepreneur of the Year and Drug Store News Pharmacy Innovator of the Year.
